Q: Are there age limits?

A: Recommended guidelines suggest gliders be 14 years and older.  Children under 18 must have a parent or guardian sign the waiver.


Q: Are there weight Limits?

A: Gliders should be between 100-250 pounds and 5 ft. tall


Q: Are there health restrictions?

A: You need to be in good health, able to stand in one place for two hours, and can step up or down unassisted.  Pregnant women are restricted from Gliding.  You must not be under the influence of any drugs or alcohol.


Q: What can I wear?

A: Please dress appropriately for cooler weather when necessary.  Closed toed shoes are required.  No Sandals.  No high heels, ball gowns, or tuxedos.


Q: Can I take pictures?

A: Your guide will take any pictures you want.  For safety reasons, pictures are not to be taken while on a Segway PT.


Q: Are helmets required?

A:  Yes, they are.  You can bring your own if you have a favorite helmet to wear.


Q: Will we be in traffic?

A: Some tours will take you across streets, on sidewalks, and on dirt trails.  A general knowledge of traffic rules, hand signals, and etiquette is helpful.


Q: What about tour cancellations, rainy days, or refunds.

A: Our staff has taken preparations to lead your tour. Cancellations must be done within 24 hours prior to the tour in order to get a voucher for another tour on another day. Inclement weather may delay the start of a tour, for a few hours, or require it to be rescheduled.


Q: How many people can go on a tour?

A: For safety reasons, we try to keep our tours between 2-5 people.  Larger groups can be accommodated with advance notice.  Group size is limited to 10 people.


Q: My tour guide deserves a tip.  Can I tip him on my credit card?

A: Yes, but cash is preferred.
